We provide Placement services for our
trained graduates
STRIVE offers a three week job preparation
course that will assist job seekers in obtaining the different skills necessary
to gain a high-quality job and we work with graduates to place them in solid
employment. The program is free of cost to the public. An application process is
necessary to enroll in the program. You can view our

Job Development
STRIVE provides job placement assistance to everyone who
completes the three weeks of training. Working with an assigned job developer,
each STRIVE graduates is guided through the job-search process, learning how to
effectively market themselves, until they have secured gainful employment. A key
factor in success of STRIVE’s placements is the proper matching of candidates
with job opportunities; STRIVE job developers are not only committed to positive
relationships with graduates, but also work hard to create foster good relations
with STRIVE Employers.
Social Services
Recognizing that participants face many obstacles to
employment and success in a work environment, STRIVE’s on–site Social Services
department provides individual counseling, case management, crisis intervention,
advocacy, and a full range of referral and information services. These services
are available to all STRIVE participants and graduates at anytime.
Graduate Services
Once placed, STRIVE graduates are kept connected to the
STRIVE network through STRIVE’s follow-up and tracking system. While all
graduates have lifetime access to STRIVE’s services, for the first two years
after placement Graduate Services proactively maintains contact with graduates.
Offering a continuum of supportive and Career Advancement Services tailored to
the individual needs of each graduate, STRIVE ensures that it’s graduates not
only remain employed, but continue to move forward toward greater personal
success.
