STRIVE offers employers quality. Our service is solely limited to employee development. We assist employers in hiring competent, professional employees or train employees already on the job to be better equipped for today's job market. STRIVE's program is becoming a common requirement for employment in the job market. Attitude development and professionalism are instilled during the STRIVE program allowing graduates to satisfy their employers needs right away.

STRIVE is a non-profit organization funded by the Mott Foundation. We offer employers training for their current employees as well as placement services for our trained graduates. The most unique aspect of STRIVE's service is its focus on attitude, attitudinal training and development.

Employers have utilized STRIVE's training to enhance their current employee's performance in the work-place. Workers who are at risk of losing their job for attitudinal issues are frequently sent through STRIVE, where they learn to take ownership for their actions.

STRIVE's three-week workshop focuses on attitudinal and job readiness skills. Positive attitude and attitudinal changes that zero in on unwanted behaviors and create desirable ones such as, flexibility, honesty, attentiveness, and patience are taught. This focus is central philosophy of the STRIVE approach. Creating and refining these positive attributes has substantial impact on placement and retention. Our training gives graduates the needs of the workforce in the 21st century: teamwork, conflict resolution skills, and taking ownership for their actions.

STRIVE screens their graduates and refers only the most compatible employees for an interview. We also offer continued support to the graduate in the way of additional counseling to get them back on track.
